One job…

I had one job this morning. ONE JOB…this morning. Update our spending/budget spreadsheet for the past two months. SO…I get up (after having a cup of coffee in bed , now that Bobster is home again)… and…

• Made 2^nd cup of coffee
• Take dogs out
• Feed dogs
• Commit to a hike today (NO TRAIL RUNNING!!!)
• Commit to shampooing the carpet in our bedroom.
• Scan some bills & newsletters
• Pay a couple of bills online
• Have some hummus & warm, flour tortilla
• Realize it’s REALLY NICE outside, so open the arcadia door & put up baby gate to keep Timmy & Mia inside.
• Try to make some samples for my Posh biz, only to realize I should upgrade my label software.
• Research if I really need to update (pay) my label software…no… But as a household who has made their living with software, decide to drop the $20 to get the upgrade and (more importantly) support the company that is producing a software app that I use often.
• Upgrade label software & feeling good about supporting fellow coders.
• Look for USB charger for my Nike GPS watch so it will be juiced up for today’s hike.
• Return to making some labels for my samples for my Posh biz, using my (newly upgraded) label software.
• Check Facebook. Just because.
• Updating my cloud shopping list for Sephora/Ulta (via Toodledo) to include face powder & the brand/shade….running very low on that. Confirming ‘hair dryer’ is also on the list.
• Start rethinking hike strategy. Tomorrow may be a good day for hiking…???
• Make a note of other supplies from Hobby Lobby & Staples that I need for my Posh biz.
• See Facebook post about people enraged about Starbucks’ latest/newest red cup – check that out.
• Decide to make a list of things I want done at the Abraham house, now that I’m all in with Angie’s List & Home Advisors.
• Wondering if I should go to Quizno’s, Rubio’s or Steve’s Pizza for lunch.
• Deciding today is probably not a good carpet shampooing day.
• Realizing it’s 4 ½ hours later…I’m still in my nightgown… and…I’ve only spent about FIVE MINUTES on the ONE JOB I needed to do…
