Cuisinart Egg Cooker

We go through a lot of hard cooked eggs.  We have them in salads, egg salad, snacks and the dogs like them too.  A couple of years ago, I decided to try an egg cooker.  I know…it’s like a rice cooker or a salad spinner…you think it’s a dumb idea, until you actually USE one.  I love my egg cookers.  Yes, that’s plural because I use them both when making eggs for deviled eggs.  I typically use it at least once a week.  It literally takes less than a minute of my time to set it up to cook.  An added bonus is that the eggs are always easy to peel!

UPDATE: 10/26/15 – A couple of tips I forgot to add. First, when piercing and placing the eggs in the cooker, be sure the wide/big side of the egg is up and the narrow side is down. I think you’ll find that’s how they are packed, when you buy them. Second, when using the Cuisinart Egg Central, when placing the bottom tray on the cooker, be sure the ridges on the handles are UP and that the tray is firmly seated on the cooker. I don’t know why, but the first couple of times I used my cooker, I’d end up with water all over the counter.
